What I ate (haven't officially started Whole30 yet):

Breakfast:
Smoothie of
1 cup dark chocolate almond milk
1 banana
1 scoop Plant Fusion
3 tbsp peanut butter*
The peanut butter is a total indulgence and leftover from a recipe and obviously needs to not happen again!
Total Calories: 635 Carb=65g Prot=36g Fat=30g (source: Vitabot.com)

Love my new Ninja:

Lunch:
Hamburg Soup
2 lbs. Hamburg
2 onions
A bunch of garlic and evoo
Tomato paste
Beef broth (4 cups water + 4 bouillon cubes)
2 bags California Blend

Total Calories: 686   Carb=26g Prot=97g Fat=20g (source: Vitabot.com)

Dinner:
Well, the kid was sleeping at the grandparents and we went to Applebea's. I had a "healthy" option for dinner -- steak and portabellas -- but also Spinach and Artichoke dip and wine. Ugh.

What I did:
7022 steps (probably closer to 10,000, didn't put my Fit Bit on until 10 a.m. and I'd already been cleaning for a few hours)
90 minute cardio class

Tomorrow is a new day...

It is all about accountability...

I'm starting this blog as more of a journal than for public consumption. Maybe I'll share it one day, but not yet. In 2013 I revamped my eating habits, followed a mostly Paleo eating plan and focused heavily on fitness. I participated in two 5K's and Warrior Dash. I lost almost 50 pounds. However, I also have fallen far off track with my eating, become lazy and need to get back on track. I plan to use this blog to journal what I've eaten, what' I've done (fitness wise), and my progress towards my fitness goals. This way, when I fall off track I can look back on the times I was successful and recommit.

So what are my goals? Well first and foremost, I must get to a healthy weight. I must. More short-term, I'm registered for Run or Dye on July 19th and want to run the entire thing.

Short-short term, I want to get back to journaling my food, meal planning and following Whole 30 as closely as possible. I'll add new goals each month.

Here goes nothing...
